  Taken from Penelope Umbrico’s portfolio, Copyrighted Suns Inverted / Right-click, Save as… points to the blatant disregard for creative copyright, in “screen grabbing” legally protected images, and using them in a new work without proper licensing. The work also summarizes the collective narratives of the many photographers trying to make a living by creating beautiful imagery, and finding a protected means to distribute their photos. I have not contacted the legal departments for the companies representing the misappropriated images in the original work.
